Childhood memories of WWII

A few weeks ago Mary Ogden visited our Year 5 children to share her experiences of being a child during World War II. Mary went to South Park Primary as a 5 year old child in 1935. She talked  about what it was like to live in Seven Kings when the bombs were falling during the blitz, and when many of her friends were evacuated to relative safety in the countryside.
